How do I start a revision quiz?
Sign in, complete any starter setup and choose an available subject and topic. Mox uses stored curriculum questions; there is no past-paper upload journey in the current learning area.
Which PDFs can I use for flashcards?
Choose From revision materials in a new flashcard deck. The reader extracts selectable text from up to the first 40 pages; it does not read handwriting or image-only scans. You can paste typed notes instead. Always check and edit AI-generated cards.
What do I get on the Free plan?
Curriculum topic practice, five AI marks per UK day, basic feedback and saved flashcards (up to 20 cards per deck and five new decks per monthly allowance) with spaced-repetition reviews. See Pricing for the full comparison.
When do my free limits reset?
Free includes 5 AI marks a day, resetting at midnight UK time. One new answer checked in a regular quiz uses one allowance unit, including multiple-choice and accepted-answer checks that do not use AI. A question's score marks are separate. The 3-question introduction uses no allowance. New-deck and development allowances use an account-based monthly cycle.
What can I do when my daily allowance is used?
Today's five AI marks are used. New regular-quiz checks resume at midnight UK time; your unfinished quiz stays saved. You can still review saved answers, review flashcards and create decks within your monthly allowance. Premium removes the daily marking limit, not the per-quiz or AI-generation caps.
How do I upgrade, and what changes?
Choose Premium Monthly (£9.99/month) or Premium Annual (£89.99/year) from the Pricing page or Settings → Billing. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout, and Premium unlocks the moment the payment confirms: unlimited AI marking, model answers, unlimited deck creation (up to 300 cards per AI generation), personalised study support and advanced analytics. Staged hints and evidence-based weakness detection are also available on Free.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing and cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you're never charged again after that. Premium Annual renews yearly, so cancelling stops the next year's charge.
Is my card safe?
Yes. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we never store them.
Is my revision data kept when the site updates?
Your saved account, results, streaks, flashcards and progress are retained across site updates. Account deletion is a separate action; see the Privacy Policy for retention details.
I can't sign in with Google.
Make sure pop-ups aren't blocked and that you're using the same Google account you signed up with. If you originally signed up with an email and password, use that method instead — then email us and we can help link them.
How do I reset my password?
Open Sign in and choose Forgot password to request an email reset link. If the link does not arrive, check spam and contact support.
How do I delete my account and data?
Settings has a delete option that permanently removes your papers, answers, flashcards and progress. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
How are quiz answers checked?
Ordinary quizzes compare selections and normalised short answers with stored accepted answers; this is not AI marking and can miss valid alternative wording. Regular checks still consume the shared daily allowance. Optional brief explanations do not consume another mark. AI output can be inaccurate: check important answers with course material.
